12V solenoid Version 3
Every component of this solenoid has been redesigned to maximize the life and improve the feedback. The spring and coil have been improved to allow for very low hold current, the shaft has been extended for a longer throw and higher hit velocity and it uses a pure copper coil to ensure a strong magnetic field to get the hardest hitting feedback without breaking the bank.
These solenoids hit about twice as hard as normal aftermarket solenoids and use about 50W of power each, so they are very powerful
Currently testing a batch of solenoids with over 10 million hits and counting with no failures — When testing normal aftermarket solenoids, they were failing at just 100,000 hits, so these will last MUCH longer. These solenoids should outlast the cabinet when used with the life extender boards that I sell.
Note that these newer solenoids connect with both wires on the TOP of the solenoid. There is no longer a need to connect anything to the base of the solenoid. This makes it easier to hook them up and add a diode between the terminals, and also gives longer life as one of the failure points was the weld to the base of the solenoid.

There really are differences in the solenoids you purchase for your cabinet! Make sure to go with a high quality solenoid for the best experience!
